Whistleblower law in the Netherlands #
The Netherlands transposed EU Directive 2019/1937 through the Wet bescherming klokkenluiders (Wbk), which entered into force on February 18, 2023, replacing the earlier Huis voor klokkenluiders Act. Full enforcement powers (administrative penalties) are still being implemented via secondary legislation.
