Whistleblower law in Czech Republic #
The Czech Republic transposed EU Directive 2019/1937 through Act No. 171/2023 Coll. on the protection of whistleblowers, which entered into force on August 1, 2023. The country was fined €2,300,000 by the EU Court of Justice in March 2025 for late transposition.

Penalties #
